Summary 2016-17 year
Income
The income was up on 2016 although the main fundraiser “Looch Evening” was down compared to the year before, we added some other fundraising events which put us up over all. There was “The smarties Fundraiser”, food at party in the park and restaurant night made a little.
We were also donated more money this year, Kneesall Out of School Club kindly donated us £1000 which was greatly received.
Out going
The fund raising expenses were very similar to last year.
The “other” column is for tea towels needed, drinks at the play and this also includes craft day. Craft Day was up quite a lot from last year, as we were lacking in a number of things but we also have more in stock now for this year.
Gifts and prizes were down lots this year, due to last year included the coins for the queen, which were given to the children.
Donations to the school are down from the previous year (the previous year looks high but £4649 was carried over from the year before). This year were donated £3000 towards the outside class room, £200 to residential trips and £410 to the Year 2 and Year 6 treat day.
Summary
We started with £ 1523.29
Income £ 7726.04
Expenses £ 2460.32
Gifts to school £ 3610.00
Starting year 2017-18 with £ 3179.01
We are also going in to this new year with a very healthy account of £3179.01. Several things were discussed at the end of last year of what the school needs and finishing the outside class room so it is water tight and there for more use, this likely to be one of the first things the money will be donated to.
We are already on a great start for this year as we have already been donated £80 from Ali Knightly, from her bike ride from coast to coast.
